There's more options to accompaniment than just strumming. We'll cover basic right-hand techniques that will get you off to a great start. We will also learn right-hand patterns that can be applied to songs of various styles.

Time to build a strong foundation in blues playing! We will explore common blues progressions, chord voicings, turnarounds, and accompaniment patterns that will help you dig deeper into the blues.

Jazzing Up the Blues

Want to spice up your blues playing? In this workshop we'll cover simple tweaks to basic chords adding a cool sophistication to your blues harmony. We'll look at differences between the basic 12 bar blues progression and its jazzier counterpart. At the end you'll walk away with new chord voicings and progressions that will have you jazzing up the blues.
